Expert Piano tuition
Karen is a fully qualified and experienced teacher and is professionally registered as a private teacher with the Incorporated Society of Musicians based in London and also has a DBS Enhanced Disclosure. This means you can be confident of the quality in the standard of her tuition.
She trains pupils in relaxation and with the correct posture and technique, fostering finger agility. This enables the pupil to tackle a wider choice of music.
Warm and welcoming atmosphere
Adults are encouraged to study for examinations, but this is never urged. Karen provides an opportunity for students to perform in concerts and festivals and utilises her own reward scheme to motivate the learning of young pupils. Pupils are encouraged to learn a varied repertoire through guided choice. All music is purchased through the teacher.
